In advance of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee mark up tomorrow, ALPA joined a group of energy growers, manufacturers and consumers to urge support for advanced biofuel use in military ships, jets, and vehicles.  With continued rising oil prices and international security challenges, the development and use of biofuels is extremely important for our military capability.  As fuel represents the number one cost to the airline industry, ALPA strongly supports the development of alternative fuels to help our U.S. airlines succeed.
