ALPA adamantly opposes the airline ticket tax provision contained in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013. The hike would add to the already-oppressive tax burden on U.S. airlines and airline passengers, jeopardizing future demand for air travel and the growth of an industry that drives the U.S. economy and provides U.S. jobs.
